Anonymous asked: Dang, there must be a manual that all our parents are reading i thought my parents were the only ones with "phone voices". Every time my mom would get on the phone her voice would change and me and my sister would give each other side eyes and start rolling with laughter. It cracks us up!

naijabarbie: This girl is arguing with me trying to tell me that white Africans aren’t real Africans. I’m sorry, I didn’t know fake Africans existed. Please, tell me how to spot these counterfeit Africans.

There's something I've noticed about the...
People have been sending in submissions more as a “You know you’re African when…” kinda thing. That’s not what this blog is about. It’s about actual problems/annoyances that you’ve faced because you’re African. On that note, Im running low on submissions. Don’t be afraid to submit your problem at www.african-problems.tumblr.com/submit

thatnigeriankid: My sister sprained her ankle and my mom is pressing her ankle with cloth soaked with boiling water. Doesn’t she understand that it will have little to no effect? In fact it can make it even worse. I swear my parents are so bush. I can’t deal with this nonsense.
